Training – the Griffin Factor

Skills development is paramount at Griffin Healthcare and the comprehensive training our nurses and caregivers receive is just one of the things that set us apart.

Our team includes registered nurses, trained health care assistants and domestic staff, all providing a comprehensive range of services including nursing, health care assistance, kitchen duties and cleaning. The expertise they bring is reinforced by our very own Educator, a Registered Nurse who runs relevant, regular, ongoing and experience-based induction and training courses for the entire team on an ongoing basis.

All staff members are trained in manual handling, infection control, health and safety, client rights, challenging behaviour and restraint. Certification is renewed every year and we conduct spot-checks regularly to ensure staff are conforming to the rigorous standards we set.
